Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Atlanta, GA
Surveying/SUE
Accura Engineering provided critical surveying and utility mapping services for the construction of new canopies at the North and South terminals of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The project required precise data collection to ensure that the new structures integrated seamlessly with the existing airport infrastructure.
Accura played a key role in wetlands delineation, permitting, and environmental surveys to facilitate the repair and expansion of water and wastewater infrastructure. Our comprehensive approach included:
Conducting on-site investigations to assess environmental impact.
Preparing detailed permit applications for:
Surveying threatened and endangered species, including the rare small whorled pogonia and wood turtle.
Modifying existing permits to meet updated compliance needs.
Our work not only ensured compliance but also played a part in protecting the delicate ecosystem of Fort Belvoir. From securing permits to restoring streams, we enabled the U.S. Army to move forward with confidence, knowing their construction efforts align with their commitment to environmental stewardship.
